about me

What are you facing this week that you can’t handle & who are you asking for help?

What are you facing this week that you can’t handle & who are you asking for help?

What in the world are you talking about Daniel, you might be asking. Well I just spent last week sitting with some pretty amazing Thought Leaders in the area of Human Care at [IDEA CAMP]. Basically I sat and had uninhibited discussion in a like minded community setting for a few days.

Now I’m sitting here thinking of a buddy that is looking ahead at a new journey right this very second. I’m not sure that he has actually started the new journey yet, however he has ended his last journey is just waiting to start the next. None of us are meant to walk alone, but to live in community. Some do, and they may succeed in a way, but will miss out on quite an adventure I believe. An adventure of the journey and relationships. The journey that not only builds your character and community, but also gives you an opportunity to inspire those that may need it along the way.

This week, if you’re facing something alone, please include those that know and love you most. Also those that have been placed in your life as some form of random muse or maven. So whether or not you’re facing a career change, life change, or anything that is stressful and includes some difficult decisions, most importantly ask God for direction. Let go a little bit and sit back. Take time to quite yourself and listen. God may not bring down some crazy audible voice, but may speak very clearly through someone or something. Be on the lookout or maybe even talk it out with a trustworthy friend or an aquaintance. You might be surprised that you could get clarity in the strangest of ways. This is your time and an exciting time. Trust me, I speak from experience.

I wish you an amazing journey and please reach out to someone close to you or those that you trust and believe in. And if you can honestly say that you don’t have anyone, then please shoot me an email.

Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.

If you’re on this new path and trying to find your way, here are some resources that I highly recommend ………

The In-Between – Jeff Goins

The Tipping Point – Malcom Gladwell

Plan B – Pete Wilson

I am starting to work on a new path. Not sure what that path is yet. My wife and I are praying big time and hoping that path is shown to us sooner than later. We know it is time to get ready for the “move” but are unsure what that “move” is! Thank you for the post Brother!

Man absolutely Matt! Anytime you feel that a move or shift is coming it can be a bit nerve racking. However, it’s also pretty exciting as well. Keep your head up and looking around for new relationships and new connections and you’ll be amazed at where you’ll land. Keep in touch and call any time my friend!
